Final stretch of preseason practices with the start of the season on the near horizon
Valencia Basket men's team
has returned this morning to practice in the first of the two sessions on
Monday after enjoying the last weekend off before the start of the competition,
which will open on Friday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal San Pablo
visiting Coosur Real Betis on the Endesa League round 1. To start preparing for
this game, coach Álex Mumbrú has his full roster with the exception of the
injured Millán Jiménez and Martin Hermannsson. The challenge, to start the acb
winning away from home (something the taronja squad has only achieved in 5 of
the previous 16 times) on a court where has fallen on his last two visits.
Although the only time Valencia Basket started the season in Seville, in the
2017-18 season, did so by winning.
